Welcome to Silverstone School Parking CIC
Silverstone School Parking CIC is a community‑run organisation raising vital funds for local schools and youth organsiations through managed parking during the Silverstone Grand Prix weekend.
Our GP Parking operation is made possible by many volunteers, from Silverstone and other local village communities, working together to raise funds that directly benefit our children’s education.
Each year, we manage multiple car parks across Silverstone village, safely accommodating thousands of vehicles over the race weekend while working closely with local authorities and event partners.
While race weekend can be busy and fast‑paced, we try to keep our approach friendly, organised, and supportive—looking after our volunteers as well as our visitors.
Every parking ticket sold helps fund vital resources, experiences, and opportunities for local children and families. Your support directly benefits the next generation of Silverstone.
To support Silverstone CE Primary School and local youth organisations that enrich the education and wellbeing of children in Silverstone village.
Thanks to the generosity of motorsport fans, and the dedication of our volunteers, 2025 was our biggest year yet:
- Over £43.000 was raised for Silverstone CE Primary School and local youth groups
- Beneficiaries were:
- Friends of Silverstone School
- Sponne PFA
- Silverstone Pre-School
- Greens Norton Scout Troop
- 1st Silverstone Brownies
- Silverstone Juniors Cricket Club
- Friends of Greens Norton School
- Silverstone Recreational Association
Since our incorporation in 2023, we’ve raised over £110,000 to support the children of our village.
All CICs must file a Community Interest Statement with the CIC Regulator, which outlines their purpose and how they serve the public good.
Silverstone School Parking CIC is committed to transparency. We host 2 community meetings a year – details of which can be found here – providing our community with updates on CIC activities and objectives.
Each year, the profits from our Grand Prix parking activities are distributed to:
- Silverstone CE Primary School (at least 50% of profits)
- Local youth organisations that support Silverstone village children’s education and wellbeing.
