Church St is our largest car park, easily accommodating over 280 cars.
Key things to know about Church St:
- The field is a bit bumpy – please take care when walking! If directing traffic remind all drivers to drive slowly because of the bumps.
- There’s only one way in and out of Church St , for cars and vehicles- if on entrance or scanning duty please make sure cars give way to pedestrians and pedestrians keep to the pedestrian zones.
- We’ve the luxury of a shed / barn at this site at the entrance. You’ll find electric outlets (at the rear) in here and its also where all equipment can be stored overnight.
- You’ll find the portaloos behind the shed / barn. The gazebo needs to be put up in that area each morning.
- Because of its size Church St can accommodate volunteer vehicles. Volunteers tend to park neatly in the area to the right of the entrance, behind the trees.
Please familiarise yourself with the Church St layout before starting your shift.
If you’re driving to the site make sure you’re aware of the road restriction – we’ve a handy pack giving you the best advice to get to Church St.
